Sweater Stone is an effective tool for removing lint from coarse and fluffy woolen fabrics and knits. It is suitable, for example, for the maintenance of various woolen fabrics and knitwear containing sheep's wool and mohair. For fine knitwear and very smooth woolen fabrics, the Arkivé Atelier wool comb is the best option.
How to use
Move the stone on the surface of the material parallel to the material or loops of the fabric. Knit maintenance is easier when the garment is spread on a cushion. The soft base keeps the knit in place better and also reduces the pressure on the knit. The lint removal is started by pressing gently and the pressure is then gradually increased until the lint begins to come off. Too little pressure is not enough to remove lint.
Small black parts of the stone will come off every time the stone used but that is completely normal and does not stain your clothes. Loose lint can be collected in the storage box of the stone during maintenance.
